Jannis Psychopedi’s affinity with poetry and the impact it had on his artistic world dates back to the early 1980’s. The exhibition “Jannis Psychopedis: Poetical Works – Painting Meets Poetry”, is organised in 22 sections including engravings, oil paintings, watercolours and portraits crafted by this notable Greek artist and explores his “conversation” with Greek and foreign poets who inspired him, such as Homer, Kalvos, Byron, Cavafy, Seferis, Elytis, Ritsos, Empirikos.
